Town of Granville Fire Department (MA) Noble & Cooley, founded in 1854 in Granville, MA, by Silas Noble and James P. Cooley, is America's oldest drum company. During the Civil War, they manufactured snare drums for the Union Army. The FD had 3-bays in the building in the 1940's.
