Grants Pass City Volunteer Fire Department (OR)
DEFUNCT - "The Caveman" is a 17-foot-tall statue and the mascot of Grants Pass, created in 1971 by a local group to promote the nearby Oregon Caves and boost tourism. The GPVFD wore its own patch while the careeer members wore the same patch without the words "volunteer". The GPVFD was disbanded in 1986.
