Mystic Island Volunteer Fire Company (NJ)
The "Tuckerton antenna" is a large radio tower built in Tuckerton, New Jersey, in 1912, by a German company. It was the first and most powerful transatlantic broadcasting tower, standing at 825 feet. While it was located on US soil, it was entirely owned and operated by Germany. The tower was dismantled in 1955.
