K.I. Sawyer Volunteer Fire Department (MI) DEFUNCT - K.I. Sawyer VFD operated at the KI Sawyer County Airport. In 1958, the County Airport became an active AFB. The AFB asked K.I. Sawyer VFD to provide fire protection for 2-years and AFB then brought on full time FF's.
